About LIYANA
“Let It Yield a New Attire”
LIYANA takes its name from the expression “Let It Yield a New Attire”. Our mission is to transform exceptional fabrics into new creations that hold meaning and are built to last.
At LIYANA, everything begins with the cut.
We dedicate great care to designing shapes that flatter every silhouette, regardless of gender or body type. Clean lines, balanced proportions, and sculptural simplicity are at the heart of our approach.
For our menswear pieces, we also explore hidden pocket systems — interior compartments designed to carry essentials such as keys, a wallet, or a phone. These discreet details bring practicality without altering the purity of the silhouette.
Each jacket is made to feel both elegant and intuitive, combining minimalist aesthetics with thoughtful functionality. And because we work mainly with luxury wool deadstock, all LIYANA pieces naturally help maintain body warmth, making them as comfortable as they are refined.
We create jackets that blend couture-level cuts, responsible materials, and intelligent, discreet functionality.
Why Deadstock?
Every year, millions of tons of high-end fabrics remain unused in warehouses around the world.
These materials were originally produced for luxury houses but were left behind for many reasons: end of collection, seasonal changes, sudden cancellations by renowned couture brands, shifts in trends, or simple overproduction.
France is one of the world’s leaders in luxury fabric manufacturing — produces some of the finest wools, silks, and innovative textiles in the industry. And yet, even here, exceptional materials often remain stored, forgotten, or destined to be discarded.
At LIYANA, we believe these fabrics deserve a second life.
By using luxury deadstock, we gain access to outstanding quality while reducing waste and honoring the craftsmanship of the mills that created these materials. Deadstock also means each fabric exists in extremely limited quantities, making every LIYANA piece unique and impossible to reproduce on a large scale.
Working with dormant stocks allows us to create responsibly without compromising on quality, while reducing unnecessary waste in the fashion industry.
